Making an action repeat?

1
I need to do this for school and I have no idea how to go about it. The idea is basically having a label that only moves when the START button is clicked and the direction determined by the text on the label which I have managed to figure out-

However, this week's challenge is making the label move on continously until the STOP button is clicked and the teacher dropped a hint that the timer may be used but looking at the time and trying to figure out the code is something I've been trying to do for the past two hours and I'm failing.

Can you show us some of what you've attempted so far?

Also, what version of VB are you using?

I should warn you, we're very wary of providing too much assistance on homework/coursework assignments. See the posting guidelines for details.
