Help with Multiline TextBox to pass to Crystal Reports.

P: 1
Hi,
I am passing the value of the Multiline Text Box from VB to Crystal.
Everything was ok until the User Pressed the Enter Key to separate the line in the Multiline Textbox, Pressing Enter causes the VB to throw a msg before opening the Crystal.

The Error Says:
Error Generating Report. Error in Formula.
In Error, it shows the ''line 1 and than in next line just the single quote character
' like this.
and in the last line it shows The matching ' for this string is missing and an ok button and it goes back to the VB application.

I need this urgently to turn back to the customer and donno what i have to do to fix this.

Please help me if anybody can.

Thank you,

Dhaval.

I'm a bit unclear on some of this.
Is the problem that there is a line break in the text? Or that the user is leaving a blank line between lines, or what? If there are not suppoed to be any line breaks, then maybe you could get away with simply turning off the Multiline property.

Perhaps you can just run through the text in your VB code and check for whatever situation is a problem, before passing it to Crystal Reports.
