Ctrl not working in Visual Studio all of a sudden?

As the title says, all of a sudden as I was coding VB.NET in Visual Studio 2005 my Ctrl button (on the keyboard) wouldnt work with any shortcut, I cant say what triggered it, as I discovered it when the damage was done.

Pretty annoying to not be able to use any shortcut :(

Anyone have had this happen and found a solution?
