ASA i am working in VB first time,i have a problem while working with RitchTextBox, i want that whenever i press any key first i should analyze and then it display in RichTextBox if i want's plz help me

You need to capture the keypress event.

You need to capture the keypress event.
Also consider the KeyDown and/or KeyUp events, if you need information such as the state of the Shift, Ctrl or Alt keys. But if you can use it, KeyPress will be much simpler.

Not necessarily.

The functionality is slightly different. Which one is better depends on exactly what you need from it. Which is the point I made in my previous post.
