Obtaining Bit Depth

Hello,

I'm new to programming, and I'm building a MS Access application. For one of my fields, I need to automatically obtain the monitor's bit depth. Is there code I could write in a VB module that will do this?

No, that more or less refers to screen resolution. I need something that states whether they are using a 32 bit setting, 64 bit setting, etc.
