MS Access Startup options

P: 1
Hi there,

I am currently in the situation where I have a database secured with startup options and passwords, but need to edit the startup options from time to time.(These have been hidden). There is an article on MSDN about creating a form within a database to control these options - can anyone help. The Property Editor does not work as I have user accounts and groups and I cannot afford to go without them. I am not going to buy the entire book advertised on MSDN just for that code! - The Rand Dollar exchange is a bit tight!

Kind Regards, and 2 thumbs up for a wonderful site!

Greetings Debby!

It sounds like you have your work cut out rather nicely for you. You should get additional information posting in the Access Forum, though skilled, well-rounded amateurs here will respond with helpful results. I will take a look see what I can find, I thought to have seen a tutorial on this somewhere.

Please stay tuned,

Debby,

I could not find the tutorial I hoped to add. Please take a closer look here, see what you can do meanwhile:

Continue to stay tuned, if this does not help. Also, search a little deeper through the access forum here for added tips. Starting to be a repeated remark :-)

This is bothering me, I know to have seen something rather concrete.

In a bit!
