Identify SQLEXPRESS provider statement for Visual Studios

P: 13

I am creating an application usiing Visual Studio Express as the frontend and SQL Express as the backend.
When I connect to a MS Access database I use the following statement, in my code, to identify the Provider " PortMandb.ConnectionString = "PROVIDER=Microsoft.Jet.OLEDB.4.0;Data Source = E:\Data\MS Visual Studio Projects\MS Access\PortMan_VB_NET.mdb"

What statement should I use in my code to identify the Provider as a SQLEXPRESS database?

I have already connected the SQLEXPRESS database to the project, but can't get my programs to access the data.

If possible, please advise.
