Beginner: VB6 or VB.Net

P: 8
Hi,

I am planning to start learning Visual Basic. I have Visual Basic 6 Software, and Visual Basic 6 books.

The question is, since I have not done any VB Programming, shall I start Learning VB6 since I have the materials or Start Learning VB.Net?

Will VB6 be supported by Microsoft for a long time?

Thanks a lot

VB6 and VB.Net are similar to each other so learning one can help with the other one i know only vb6 but i can code in vb.net cause of the similarities so start with vb6 and then move to vb.net
