Can not get .Find to find date

hello every one.
I can not get this to find the same date on a spread sheet? what is wrong with this.
I put 2 dates in the same. it can find any text though.

Dim Var1 As Range

Set Var1 = Workbooks("Visits Numbers.xls").Worksheets("Visit Nos").Range("AB209")

Set foundcell1 = ThisWorkbook.Worksheets("Visit Nos").Range("AB210:AB65536").find(Var1)

' 1st Day
If foundcell1 Is Nothing Then

Any help would be mostly appreciated

Not really familiar with this area, but is it possible that you have the dates formatted differently and it's searching for the formatted value?

Alternatively, could the dates actually have different times which are simply not displayed?

From project->Component
Check the Microsoft windows common cotrols-2 6.0

Dtpicker will be added in the toolbar

drag and drop Dtpicker in the form and

in coding use Dtpicker1.value for the system date and the time

...in coding use Dtpicker1.value for the system date and the time
Why? Is there any advantage over using the system variables/functions?
