place images on Data Report VB6

Hai,

I want create an employee information report that shows all details and photo of each employee. The data was stored in MS Access database. I am using VB 6 and VB Data Report for reporting. The photo was stored as OLEDB Object ( Long Binary format in ms access).

Please can some one can tell me how to do it.

Hello kowndinya!

I am not sure how this can be achieved. DataReport attempts to grab data from tables, as far as I know, therefore you would not have the ability to upload snapshots that way. Not too familiar with OLEDB and what it does:

(1)You may need to figure out how to upload your MS Access data through VB (please search here, if help is needed to do this)

(2)When the data get here, your VB form would load the apppropriate snapshot of the Employee whose data are added to this VB form

Perhaps a simple if then else statement can handle this for you. Tell us what you think or what you have working thus far.
