Voltage Monitoring through PC,s LPT-1 Port with VB-6

Dear Friends,

Any body can help me.

The following is my circuit diagram for Interfacing to a PC through LPT-1.
Kindly click on the links and advice, if you want to modify or change any thing in it you are most welcome. My problem are:-

1. How to write programmed in VB6 to read 8-bit digital input through LPT-1 port to display reading at VDU Screen as 999.

2. How to convert 8-bit in to two 4-bit (Nibble) then through VB-6 programming again convert two 4-bit in to 8-bit then into 3-digit 999 formate to see the actual reading of input on VDU screen.
