data report problem

hi guys! i want to have a textbox in my header, but its not possible when i drag a textbox in the data report, how can i possibly have a textbox in my header and footer? i need to this because the value that these textbox will get will come from my database. someone help me, this is my first time to use data report, and i'm struggling, really.
