I am newbie to communication programming using VB6. I would like help to read and save data from a modem in ASCII format.

I am newbie to communication programming using VB6. I would like help to read and save data from a modem in ASCII format.
Is it getting the data from the modem that you need help with, or putting it in a file, or what?
