I have tried to lock the combo via code using
-
DCSearch(1).Style = dbcDropdownList
-
But it doesn’t work, it tells me property cant be set on this control.
I would have just sent it in the form without codeing but I open that particular form in two place and one needs for it to be locked.
I'm not familiar with the datacombo, but
if you can't lock it on the fly like this (I don't know whether it's possible or not) then perhaps you could have two controls, and just show the one you want.
Just to help us out here though, what version of VB are you using, and what was the specific error message?
