You need to "Build Application" and then it should be in My Documents > Visual Studio Projects > "application name"

Some questions, to clarify things:
  1. What version of VB are you using?
  2. Do you want to execute the Visual Basic executable, or are you saying that you want to compile your program into an exe and run that?
  3. Or are you saying that you want to be able to run your compiled exe without needing the VB support files (DLLs)?

i dont know, if this one will help, if you're using vb 6.0, and you want to run your program in exe. you have to compile your program, you can find that it ------> files - make program name.exe. and an exe file will be created.
