Binary file to Text file convergen through VB6 Program

Hi,
Can any one help me by providing the VB6 programing details to convert a binary file in to text file. Thanks

I think you need to give us more specific details. For example, what exactly do you mean by a "binary file"? What's in it?

Hi
File with the extention bin (as name.bin) known as a banary file. we can creat a binary file in foxpro, dbase, foxbase etc. Binary file is nothing but as hex formate file.

Can you show us an example of what's in it? Or a link to somewhere the format is described? The VB coding is likely to be pretty simple, but only if we have some idea of what it is supposed to do.

Hi. The problem with your question is the accepted definition of a binary file or a text file.

Text file: a file that contains only printable characters.
Binary file: a file that contains characters, some of which are not printable.

Therefore, given the above definition, it is not a simple matter.
