hi,

please tell me how to retrieve data from backend. i am using data control. but when i click recordsource property its giving error as" unrecognised database format"e:\vb_image\storyboard\stroyboard.mdb"

Hi. I am trying to work out exactly what it is that you are seeking to do in this validate sub. Perhaps you could describe what you are trying to achieve here.

If you have copied and pasted the error you will notice that there is a typo in the spelling of storyboard which may cause this error.

actually, i want to retrieve datas from backend. i don't know how to retrieve so i used data control object to retrieve the data.

No i didn't copy that. i type that error to u. when i click recordsource also its generating same error.

i didn't install MSDN, becas i didn't have that cd. so i couldn't perform VB wizard form also. Is there anyway of getting it thru online, it would be helpful for my project:) i can add components also.
