learn how to use visual basic within excel 2000

HI, I am new to Visual Basic. For my Assignment i am supposed to write a visual basic program using excel. I have tried many scripts, but receive errors.
Can anyone tell me of any website that explain using visual basic in excel?

The Assignment is due very soon,so is there anyone who can create a code a problem.

Not sure about the website (have you tried Microsoft?) but one of the quickest ways to learn how to do something in an Excel macro is to perform the task yourself, and record it as a macro. Then you can edit and study the code which was generated.
