Problem regarding Activex control

4
Hi all,

I have downloaded a vb application from NET . The Application uses an Active x control. After i run the application that active x control becomes visible in project-> component. And the OCX file of that activex control appears in windows->system32 folder. But if I try to use that control in some other application It doesn't work.

Please Help.

When you say "it doesn't work" can you be more specific? What error message are you presented with?

Kind regards,
Bruce.

Hi bruce,
With " it does not work " , I mean that the control is not recognising the device it should do. Infact , the active x control is used to handle a scanner. With the use of the control I can capture images.
