detect serial hardisk

Dear sir
i want you show me code how to detect serial hardisk and user can used only one computer with this serial hardisk and who want to copy this database used other computer it delete all automaticly when used different serial hardisk.

If you use the Microsoft Scripting Runtime, the filesystemobject lets you retrieve info about a drive including the "type" and the volume name. I don't know exactly what sort of information is encoded in the type, though - it might just indicate local/network/removable.
