Systems of Equations in VB

I've got a project due tomorrow. I tried to do it in Maple because of the math functions available but it wasn't very user friendly so I switched over to VB. I do need to know how to make equations (without assigning values with the = character) and solve the system of eqations in VB.

Its only one line in Maple. It solves the equations and assigns the variables with their solved-for values:

assign(solve({xB+xT=1, yB+yT=1, yT*P=xT*pT, yB*P=xB*pB}, {xB, xT, yB, yT}));

(Equation calculates equilibrium compositions of Toluene and Benzene in the liquid and vapor phases at a given temperature and pressure. For ChemE class.)

If you have any examples, I would love to see those as well.

I may well be grossly mistaken but I think you'll find that VB is not anything close to Maple (or Mathematica or anything else of that ilk). There may be a third party plugin which will add that kind of spreadsheet-like functionality, but I don't think one can do that with VB out-of-the-box. Excel might be a better fit ... don't ask me how though.

Kind regards,
Bruce.
