can we write a vb program in macros of excel sheet

Hi everybody this is seshu
today iam able see an option in excel in tools menus that is macros there i have selected vb editor and wrote a small function and it is also working fine now i would like to write a program which will deal with data base but iam not geting any idea how to approach to it
first of all i would like to know is it possible or not if possible how please help me by giving a small idea so that i can try some if it is really difficult i shall seek u later Hope i am clear to every body

Yes, you can write a VB program in the VBA editor (I have done it myself), almost the same as if you were running VB6 - the main difference is that you can't compile it into an Exe file.

but my problem is somthing differnt
can use the ado concepts in that editor
more over as u said it is not possible to create an id
can i at least add that excel sheet in my vb current project as it is a part of my project
