Reading queries from Access into Crystal Report

Hi, I just join the community today, and I need to resolve this problem as soon as possible. Within 24 hours will be great.

My query
selects age, age_cat (age Category), year, qty from another query.

calculates the sum of qty and average of age per year and per age_cat

sorts in descending order by year and by age_cat

But when using VB to create the crystal report, I am not able to read in those values as I have them in Access. Sometimes values are properly read, and other times, they are either smaller or greater than the original value.

Could you help me figure out what I am not doing correctly?
