Setting an alarm

I have written a program that handles licences stored in the Access Database via Visual Basic front end. I need to program an alarm that would alert the user where the program is installed that a partcular licence will expire like in 2 months time.
I have no clue as to how to accomplish this. Please could you help me

Hi there,

Think of a logic, i think you should be working with date. You need to set some kind of flag until a condition is met. i.e. let say the licence is expirying on "29/11/2006", you need to fire up some action when the condition is met / true, as per the example the condition is date, hope you understand. Good luck & Take care.
