How to break a range or series number

Hi there!

Could you help me how to break numbers that are typed as range?
For ex. 20 ~ 40, 54~56 or 100 - 121...

We have data on one of our files here and some numbers were written on
that form above. I want to break or show them number by number, because
my manager wants me appear on that way.

Using VB, what code to use to solve my problem? I have made a VB project, a sort of an inquiry form...

Thanks
