VB passing variable to C++

Hi to Everyone,

This is my first time posting. Hopefully I'm doing this right.

I need to write a SYSTEM call to launch an exe program that is written on C++ and also pass variable (actually a ComboBox1.Text, ComboBox2.Text) to the c++ application. The c++ will use the data to do some calculation. Any help would be really appreciated. If possible I need some answer soon as possible.

Thanx,
theCoder

Hi,

Write the C++ program to work with the arguments.
From the visual basic launch the c++ program by passing the ComboBox1.text and ComboBox2.txt.as argument to the c++ executable program.

Would it be enough to pass the arguments on the command line? This is probably simpler to implement.
