help with this anyone plz....

VB program to process a series of integer rainfall figures (one number per day, in mm). Input boxes, Picture boxes, and message boxes are to be used for input and output.

The font of the picture box should be set to Courier New (so that every character occupies the same width) and to size 8. The size of the picture box should be large - e.g. 2/3 of the form. A single button should initiate the calculation.

The program should accept a series of rainfalls, ended by -1. When the -1 is entered, the program should display the following results in the picture box, using Print, and it should display a "Done" message box when terminating.
It should display a bar chart of the rainfall in the picture box as in:
----------------------------------------------------
Rainfall
13 *************
21 *********************
4 **** (nb 7 is 1 digit, 21 is 2 digits)
...etc

----------------------------------------------------

You should call a sub to accomplish the bar chart.
We are also interested in long spells of similar days (either wet or dry). For example, if the figures for an 18-day period are:

3 0 0 4 6 5 2 4 4 4 1 7 3 8 5 5 4 2 2
then the longest spell of consistent weather is shown by the run of:

4 4 4
Do not use an array, collection, or file for this! The output should show the longest run, and the rainfall, as in:

Longest consistent period was: 3 days
Rainfall each day in this period was: 4 mm

You've outlined your assignment quite effectively. Now, what can we do for you?

Keeping in mind that there are probably not a lot of people here interested in simply doing the job for you.

Hi there,

Am not trying to be rude here, what i always tell others is, try first before you ask. Very well, you need help, it's understood, but, if you don't try out by yourself how are you going to learn. Good luck & Take care.
