A good challenge

I have 2 good challenges for the members of this forum.

1) How can I get the owner`s name of a process after of course getting the list of running process.?

2) How can I monitor a printer by the USB port?
How can I monitor a projector by the serial port?
How can I monitor a smartboard by the USB port?
How can I monitor a no break by the USB port?

For the first problem I have search in the web for some code to obtain the owners`name but with no match for vb6 only .net.

In the second problem I can`t been able to do anything, I suppose that there should be some way to comunicate my vb project with the drivers or software of each device, Maybe I could get the dll files but I don`t know the structure or functions of them.
