Listing .Net control library dlls in vb 6.0

I have a project of type Control Library in VB.Net. I built the solution for the same. Registerred the same using RegAsm.exe. It is enlisted in references list while creating another vb 6.0.
But when I copy same dll to other machine and register it with RegAsm, I can’t get that component. ie I cannot get that dll in the list of references on anoter machine, while trying to create a vb6.0 project on that Machine.
Please help me out on this problem

Is it not that i should be able to use the dll on any other machine, whether or not .Net is installed on that machine?
