Disable mainmenu merges???? vb2003

Hi,

I have an application with a mdiParent and a mdiChild. I have a mainmenu item on each but when I open the child form the menu merges with the parent. Is there any way to stop this?? I need the childform to have its own menu.

Thanks in advance

Dave
