SQL Calculated field comparison problem

hi guys
i am looking for a soln to the followin problem: i ve a tbl with 2 fields: firstname and secondname. User wants to search by firstname and fullname. i did search firstname, but not the fullname. I am using access at the back, while vb on the front and created a temporary field called FullName successfully. But when i tried to search for a fullname, it gives err "No value given for one or more requested parameters" Whats the problem? How can I do such a search incase it is impossible to do so by the above method?

Can you show us how you did the search on the temporary field?

One pointer, though. Assuming you do have MS Access, it's often easiest to use the query designer (or even one of the wizards) in Access to visually build what you want, then go to the SQL view and copy what it generated.
