Helllo

I have never used VB. Please help me for the following issues:

1. what software to use to make vb scripts?

2. where is a tutorial for beginners?

3. How to format an access file? I have to format an access file where, now, all the datas are getting outputed horizontally. I want to format the data in such a way so that after record 1 gets printed, then at next line record 2 gets printed, then at next line record 3 gets printed; I also have to calculate datas of every record.

Please suggest me something so that I can handle this problem in VB.

To answer your questions:

1. The software I use for VB programming is Microsoft Visual Studio 2003

2. The book I started with is "Microsoft Visual Basic.NET step by step" by Michael Halvorson

3. This book should also show you how to go about coding for this particular problem as well. It also has sample code included on a cd that you can use.

I hope that helps you out.
