How to open a cash drawer connected to serial comm

hi
if any body can help me with that question i will be thankfull
How to open a cash drawer connected to serial comm
it has no name no user manual and nothing but a serial port connection and a power supply connection

You can do it if you have 2 things
1. The SDK from the manufacurer
2. Documented API to write code for it

Otherwise that drawer stays closed

BULL-PUCKY !!!! I'm an EE, all you need is the active pin-out of the serial, (usually 5,,, one NC switch, ground, and the solenoid coil,,,, I JUST started looking into this, when I find the solution, I'll post it!

I think thy cash drawer must be connected to some h/w and then this h/w is connected to thy pc by serial port
if so then use ms comm ctrl and the settings as per h/w specification
set the relay on/off to send command to thy h/w
