Please insert the disk labeled:

Hi

I've got this application that was developed by our company for users outside our domain. The app was developed using VB 6, Crystal Reports 8.5 and Microsoft Access. The system was tested thorughly and then distributed. However recently we received a couple of complains from the users that when they try to install the the app they receive this message: "Please insert the disk labeled:'Disk 0' into drive D:". The problem is we cannot recreate this in our environment. Does anyone know what is the cause of this?

Thanking you in advance

Hi there,

There are a list of things to be consider in the case above. Any specific conditions? Meaning, OS, Service Pack, Special Directory???

All the users I have spoken to are running Windows XP with Service Pack 2. I am also running Windows XP with Service Pack 2 but the difference here could be other installed applications on their machines. My suspicion is this is a case of DLL hell but I just cannot put my finger on it. I have also successfully installed this application on several machines outside our environment.
