How do i backup and restore MS Access Database with Visual Basic
I suspect the simplest thing would be to create a couple of queries in Access to do what you want, then just invoke them from VB.
Alternatively, a very simple method would be to have your VB code just loop through all the records in each table and copy them to the backup.
Another possibility would be to use VB's FileCopy statement to copy the MDB file. That way, the backup/restore will be completely independent of the database contents.

Oops! I'm talking about regular, standalone VB6 here. If your VB code is inside the database, then you probably should forget I said anything.
