generating "bar chart" data in a text box.

hi i am looking for programming code to generate data in a text box so it comes out in columns.
eg. Month 01, Water Quantity 01700
Month 02, Water Quantity 02400
Month 03, Water Quantity 03100

the Water Quantity relies on how many months there are.
i hope i have explained what i need. this is all very foreign to me.
thank you.

an example of what i need is for this type of question...
Write a program that uses a random number generator to simulate rain fall over a 12 month period. The following equation should be used to simulate the rain fall

rainfall = (6 - Sqr((6 - month) ^ 2)) * 2.5 * (0.5 + Rnd)

The rain fall over the 12 months should be displayed in a text box.

Don forget to use the randomise function to create a random entry point into the “random’ number sequence”

an example of this is in "lab 8".
there is also a link to the assignment i am trying to complete.
any help is greatly appreciated.
