Help with Access Coding

if this isn't in the right place, would someone be kind enough to either move it, or direct me where to post.

thanks

Now, i have a form in MS Access2003. i removed the navigation buttons and txt boxes. I want the only way to move through the records to be a combo box. This form is for viewing of data, not retrival or anything, just an on screen visual of the tata in specific tables.

However, if i use my mouse scroll wheel, i can circulate through the records, but the combo box stays the same. i have this code in the Form_MouseWheel function.

CoilIDCombo = [CoilID]

this kinda works, except it is always one record off.

is there a way to get the current value?
