Trade Capture/Risk Mgmt System -- Help Appreciated!

I'm creating a trade capture system that dynamically manages risk for a trading desk. I'm looking for advice on how to do this efficiently. Any suggestions?

This is what I'm thinking..

-The trade capture will take daily values (about 10 or so inputs) from the user and send them to a sheet that holds all activity for that day.
-Use pivot tables on separate sheets (broken out by product traded) to allow for easy viewing of the day's activities.

Thanks,
Natalie

Hi,

It sounds very interesting this kind of system!!!

And maybe this will be integrated system to your trade system or system a part of your trade system but it will work with data from your trade system?

From your description it seems that you want to use Excel to vizualize your results and also you need functionnality to get your data from the trade system...

And finnaly you have to do the most important - the mecanisum of evaluation of the risk... on the choosen records...

There is a lot of "inconnus" to go in details....

Are you French? Your name Invokes a French song "Natalie"

I'm sure if you are able to plug in the details here is a lot of people that can help you :)
