Is Visual Basic 6.0 good for very large projects ?

I am writing a software, it's size has grown to 30MB and it uses encryption and decryption with array's and GUI interface, also has connectivity with the server designed in VC++.
The server is of very high configuration and the client have Visual basic programs which connect to the server and do all the required operations.

Now I am facing the problem of system hanging in 3GHz processor with 512MB ram and 40GB hdd.

please guide me ...

Thanks

Hi there,

what is your back-end (database) currently? this problem often occurs when you are dealing with MS-Access and VB.. simple reason.. MS-Access has some limitations n record locking is not done well..

if your back-end is expected to grow more then 10MB then i would suggest to change your back-end to either MS-SQL or ORACLE.. happy trying n good luck my fren..
