openoffice and VB

hi,

can anybody suggest how to protect an openoffice document opend through vb program

I am able to open the openoffice document through VB.

but i want to disable the toolbar buttons so that nobody should be able to tamper the document(i want to do this through VB)

though the document is readolnly, since the edit button is not disabled, the moment i click on the edit button , the document is no longer readonly
hence i want to disable the toolbar

Dear sara,

I need a help from you. I dont have MS Office in our PC. I was assigned to do export the Documents and Excel sheets to VB application and from VB application to Document and Excel format. Can you guide me how to acheive this.
