Oh Boy, a few questions..

What I have is a form with a picturebox. The picturebox is maximized to the size of the window..
This picturebox, inturn, has within it's borders, a possible 4 other pictureboxes. ( mainPicturebox, and subPicturebox(0, 1, 2, ..) )

hehe.. *heck of a setup for a question, eh? :D
ok,
First.. scaling or zooming of the mainPicturebox.. ?? Maybe I should just ask it this way, what's the easiest way to apply magnification on the picture within a picturebox?

Second.. The scaleTop, scaleLeft, scaleHeight and scaleWidth properties.. Could someone try and explain how these can be used. I understand partially what they are, but I just haven't figured out the why or how to use them.

Thanks in advance.. I'm sure that the grey hair I have gotten over this code will darken with amazement. :eek:

Ok, lets see, you want to auto scale is that it?

maybe you should try this first
add a button
then add a txtbox
what you have now are 2 controls right?

now double click the form(form1) then
on the upper left portion of the code editor, you can see a + turn it to negative then look for the picturebox's current location copy that you need it.

then go to form designer, resize the picturebox to whatever size you want the do the same step, or you could just use the last setting(size)

now go to btn1- add the setting of the picturebox
paste the code here

everytime the user clicks on the btn the size of the pictbox will turn smaller or bigger

if you like add 3 more pictureboxes, add different pictures then use timer.
her it goes.

if picturebox1.visible= true then
picturebox2.visible=false
else
if picturebox1.visble=false then
picture2.visble=true
