Translucency redraw issues

Hi all.

I have just added translucency to one of my applications using the
layered windows API, but I have come across a redraw problem.

Unfortunately, I cant reproduce this in a standalone app but I'll try
and explain what's happening.

When a form is obscured when it is resized or made "visible" (I show
some other forms on restore), it seems to remember that visibility
state. When it is then unobscured, it fails to redraw most of the window
leaving it black (but translucent black :)

Covering and uncovering this window makes no difference, and I can only
seem to force a redraw by manually calling refresh on EVERY object on
the form. Any control that is explicitly redrawn (gets focus, mouseover)
also appears correctly.

This happens regardless of the actual alpha level set.

Has anyone seen this before or even better, have a solution?

Thanks
