.NET Web Application using IIS on XP Pro

Hi there ...
Has anybody managed to deploy a dotnet web application on to Win XP Pro,
with IIS ? - or do I need to deploy on to Windows Server ?

I have the web server running on the target platform, but I cannot see how
to deploy a dotnet application on to it ... even after I have it running on
the PWS of the development machine.

Cant seem to get the IDE to talk to the target machine .... can this be
done ? or am I wasting my time ?

Regards
Frederick

Quietly now, since this is a VB6 group, not a .Net group....

In Solution Explorer, click Copy Project, and choose the File Share option. This
lets you copy the files needed to run your web app to any folder, including your
app folder in the wwwroot folder of the other machine - assuming you have a
network connection to it, and have setup your app on it in the first place.
