Probably a DUH! VB6 question

I want to run a power point (show) file from a command_click in VB6. Looks
like it should be simple but this just doesn't work.

Call Shell (App.Path + "\filename.pps")

Why not? Direct clicking on the filename from My Computer causes it to run
OK.

TIA
Don

You are calling the file not the application.
You have to have the powerpoint viewer application and call that ".exe" with
the file as the parameter.

Change the .DOC demo to .PPS and run.
