VB 6.0 - MS DataGrid Contrl 6.0 (SP5) question - MSDATGRD.OCX

I have 2 forms, each using a DataGrid. The DataGrids are each bound to their
own MS ADO Data Control (SP4) - MSADOCD.OCX. For some reason, one of the
DataGrids shows horizontal scrollbars when the number of columns exceeds the
size of the DataGrid, and one of the DataGrids does not. How do I make the
latter DataGrid show horizontal scrollbars when the number of columns exceed
the size of the DataGrid. Thanks.

With the Microsoft DataGrid Control 6, Right-click the control and choose
properties. Under the Splits tab are a few options for scroll bars.

Split 0 refers to the grid without splits.

Thanks. Now I'm getting this weird behavior where the left side of the
horizontal scrollbar has a small button area that causes the grid to split
when I click on it. How do I disable that? How was it enabled in the first
place? Thanks.
