Can I see if an app is bieng closed if I have it's hWnd?

I am wondering...
Can I start a program with the shell Command like WinAmphWnd =
shell("Path",1)

That will give me the hWnd in the WinAmphWnd variable when I use it to
start the app, but I want to know If there is a way to se if that window is
closed by the user.

Is it possible to set that app as an object and catch the events in that
program like if it will be closed it generates Quit_event or something??
Or can it be done in some other way?

Yours, Jonas
