AVIs, Pictureboxes and multiple layers

Hi all.
I'm writing in this newsgroup for the first time.

Can you hel me?
I'm developing a program that plays an AVI file in a picturebox.
(using MCI control with output to picturebox)

I need to do some easy paint operations (lines and circles)
"on" the film to show, for example, a red box in X,Y coordswhile the Avi
plays.
Like a tv: images and, in the bottom-right corner, a logo.

I tried Autoredraw property, WRONG!
I'm thinking about using another transparent picturebox over the AVI and
draw on the transparent one. But I don't know How to do it.

Any ideas?
I think the right solution is to have different transparent layers and draw
on them without modifying the AVI file.

Thanks in advance and excuse me for my English

Ciao,
Francesco - Italy
