You could just use tow labels with the same text (Caption), the same font
and the same size, stacking together. For the top one, you set its Back to
"0-Transparent", and ForeColor to a desired color, usually a dark or bright
color (black, red...); for the bottom one, set its ForeColor to, say, dark
gray (so long as different from standard form gray color). If you set
controls snap to form's grid, make sure to set grid small enough.
Then make the top one a bit offset from the bottom one (up, down, left, or
right, as you desire). Now the bottom label's text shows like top label
text's drop shadow.

Hi All
My forms are gonig to have a dark to green background and I want my labels
to stand out.
I'm gonig to use white for the colour of the actual labels, but you see a
lot of the professional programs have a subtle drop shadow on the labels
to make them stand out.
Is there an easy non-ActiveX way of doing this?
