VB and MSDN collection

Hello all,

I installed the MSDN collection a few days after i had installed VB 6.
When i press the help button or F1 in VB, i still get the message that the
MSDN collection has not been installed and that i have to do so.
Is there a way to let VB6 know that the MSDN collection is indeed installed.

While we're on the subject of MSDN (I just installed it as well), anyone
have any idea why it would give the error: "The local disk does not
contain the files for 'MSDN VS 6.0 Local' as expected. Please update the
location."? It appeared to install normally, it comes up, and it's
indexed, but when you try to display anything it gives this error. I
figure that the files are probably on the disk, but I'm not sure where
it would have put them or why it can't find them. It's being used with
VB6 - SP5, and XP with SP1. Suggestions?

What version of MSDN have you installed? There are two versions that you can
use with VB 6. The original you get with VB6 or the full blown MSDN Library (3
disks). If you are trying to install the full blown MSDN Library you have to
use the October 2001 or an older version as newer versions only work with the
..NET IDE.

Hello,

I have the exact same problem as you describe below. Did you ever figure it out?

Thanks,
Anne
