Alternative for ODBC (for .DBF files)

ren
Hi all,

From a Visual Basic application I need to read and modify records from a
Clipper .DBF.

Now I've heard that not only the Microsoft ODBC is big and slow, it's also
not compatible with the (dBASE/Clipper) multi-user/ locking system (I can
agree with that).

Does anyone know a reliable alternative?

Greetings,

Paul

Codebase is what I have used, didn't mean to say that others aren't as
good or suitable.
